ASKE Tuition provides high quality, personalised tuition for children aspiring to pass the 11+ entrance exams. We build a strong foundation in Mathematics, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning techniques as well as the basics of English.
Children preparing for entrance exams are provided with a framework to help them apply their knowledge under timed conditions. Common issues such as not reading the question properly, not checking the answers, and running out of time, are dealt with via exam techniques.

Built into all courses
Students are taught techniques for reducing careless mistakes and coping with the pressure of timed tests. This module is integrated into all the 11+ courses.

Small Classes
We have very small class sizes, typically 3 to 5 children in each. This means your child will have valuable one to one attention when they need it.
The working environment is friendly and stress-free. Pupils will have opportunities to build confidence as they interact with each other and socialise the learning of harder topics.
Assessment and progress reports
Based on your child's initial assessment, we create a plan that sets their individual targets for verbal, non-verbal and numeric reasoning. All lessons throughout the course are designed to develop these areas. Tuition plans can be revised to ensure they meet the current needs and challenges of the student.
You will always have the same point of contact for progress updates thereby ensuring continuity of your child's preparation for the 11+ exams. Coupled with high levels of contact time with the tutor feedback will be regularly provided.
Starting with ASKE Tuition
The 11+ exams are challenging and competition for places in grammar schools and high performing selective schools is fierce. For that reason we recommend children begin preparing for the eleven plus tests from the Autumn or Spring term in Year 4.
We offer an educational assessment to all prospective 11+ students and discuss the results of the assessment with parents before enrolling students on our 11+ tuition programme.
